The staff at Valor Compounding Pharmacy™, based in Berkeley, CA, customize medications for patients with specific health needs that can’t be met by commercially available drugs. Our pharmacists work with physicians to identify the right compounded formula that works best for their patients. We serve patients across the United States.

Compounded Medications Made Simple

Valor is focused on simplifying the processes around filling a prescription and alleviating the anxiety associated with unknown and ever-changing prescription costs. Our pricing is transparent and consistent. Physicians find it very easy to work with Valor, and we make it just as easy for patients.

Your patient will be contacted as soon as we receive their prescription and our pharmacists will answer any questions they might have about the prescribed treatment. We relay cost, confirm personal information and shipping preferences and let them know when to expect their prescription. As for shipping charges, there are none, it’s one less thing for patients to worry about.

As a proactive partner in a patient’s health care, Valor is focused on optimizing turnaround time and reducing patient anxiety. When Valor receives a prescription, our first step is to call the patient to establish a relationship and ensure that we understand their needs.

Home delivery within four days of receipt of a new prescription, transfer, or refill request ensures that patients will have the medicine they need when they need it. Free two-day shipping (nationwide) eliminates additional cost concerns. With Valor, your patients know what they will pay, and they know when their prescriptions will arrive.

Different Methods of Delivery

Troches are commonly compounded in cases when patients have difficulty swallowing. Tablets are placed under the tongue where they quickly dissolve.

Oral Capsules and Liquid Medications are commonly compounded in cases where alternate strengths are required or to avoid potential irritants or allergens such as gluten, dyes, and preservatives. For patients who are unable to swallow pills, oral liquids allow the patient to receive the medicine is a variety of flavors that are free of sugars, alcohols, dyes, and preservatives.

Suppositories are ideal for patients who are unable to take medications orally. They are commonly used to treat conditions such as hemorrhoids, infections, and inflammations.

Topical Creams, Ointments, Gels, Powders, and Spray allows absorption of the medicine directly through the skin. These items can be used for inflammation, nausea, and pain management.

Nasal and Otic Preparations can be optimized for a patient’s sinus therapy and can include antifungals, steroids, and antibiotics.

Oral Adhesives, Mouthwashes, and Rinses can also be used to make medications that need to be taken at home after a dental visit.
