Directions showing how to properly dispense medication from the bottle, as well as a photograph of what is included in an order are shown below.

Each prescription will include:
1: An oral syringe (left)
2: A glass amber bottle (middle)
3: An adapter to assist in accurately measuring each dose (right)

In the diagram below, follow the steps in Figure 1-3 to install the adapter onto the glass bottle before using the oral syringe to dispense dosages. The adapter is shipped not attached to the glass bottle to avoid leakage during shipping. Once you insert the adapter, put the original cap back on and shake well prior to drawing out each dose.
Figure 4 shows one method of properly dispensing medication from the glass bottle. Place the oral syringe into the top of the adapter, then hold the bottle upside down while slowly pulling outward on the syringe handle to dispense the desired medication.

What is the difference between this and the commercially available injectable?

Semaglutide sublingual suspensions are administered orally as a liquid, while the commercially available injectable products are usually administered subdermally by needle. 

How can my Doctor send my prescription?

Will my insurance cover this?

Valor Compounding Pharmacy does not directly bill insurers. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be reimbursed by sending in a claim form. Many insurance companies cover compounded prescriptions. However, we suggest that you contact your insurance company to learn about your specific coverage. We can provide you with an insurance claim form that you may send to your carrier upon request.

Can Valor ship directly to me?

Yes, we can ship any non-sterile medication to any state in which we are licensed via FedEx. California is the only state in which we ship sterile compounded medications at this time. You will be asked to provide your home address during your checkout process and please note that we cannot ship to PO Box addresses.
